Real Madrid have reportedly gotten Cristiano Ronaldo’s blessings to go after Argentine star Paulo Dybala this summer.
The 24-year-old has been a long time target for Los Blancos president, Florentino Perez, who feel the time to bring the forward to the Bernabeu is this summer.
Los Blancos have revealed their plans to let go of some players to add quality to their squad ahead of the coming season.
According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, the 12-time European champions are willing to cough out about €120 million to sign the player.
However, Ronaldo is said to believe that Dybala will add firepower to Madrid’s squad with the much experience he has gathered in Italy over the last few seasons.
Meanwhile, the Argentina international has not had it all good in the last few months with coach Massimiliano Allegri benching him.
Dybala joined Juventus Palermo in the summer of 2015 in a deal worth €40 million, and he has scored 51 goals from 91 matches for the Old Lady.
This season in the Italian Serie A, he has scored 21 goals in 30 league matches, while his tally for the season so far stands at 24 goals in 42 appearances.
He couldn’t rescue his side from yet another defeat in the hands of Real in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League after receiving a marching order in the first leg of the fixture.
The forward has a running contract with the Italian club until the summer of 2022.
He won the Serie B title with Palermo in 2014 before joining Juve a year after,, while his stay at his present club has produced one Serie A title, two Coppa Italias (2015–16, 2016–17) and a Supercoppa Italiana title in 2015.
