BREAKING: Atiku meets Clark, regional leaders in Abuja

Former vice president and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, is currently in a meeting with regional leaders led by Chief Edwin Clark.

Nigerian Tribune reports that the meeting, which is taking place at the Asokoro residence of the Ijaw leader in Abuja, is to let the leaders know of his desire to race for the presidential ticket of the opposition party.

Other leaders present include those of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) which Clark belongs to, Afenifere, Ohanaeze Ndigbo and the Middle Belt Forum.

In attendance are Afenifere leader Ayo Adebanjo; President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Nnia Nwodo; Albert Horsefall, Air Commodore Dan Suleiman, Afenifere scribe Yinka Odumakin, Senator Stella Omu, Idongesit Nkanga, Bitrus Pogu and Godknows Igali among others.
