FRESH MUSIC: T-Pain – Might Be ft. Gucci Mane
Gucci and T-Pain share the same coastal region but came up a bit differently. They both lent their talents to a Steve Aoki session in the past, and sometime in the distant past it was T-Pain who played second fiddle opposite Gucci Mane on Trap God in 2012. The ATl legend is here to reimburse the support.
On “Might Be,” T-Pain adopts a harsher tone than regular, maybe pressured by the countenance of his amigo Gucci Mane. Legend has it that Gucci once muttered his incredible turn of expression to a judge presiding over an assault and battery charge some time prior. The judge inquired as to whether he was guilty of the offense, to which Gucci reacted, “Bitch I Might Be.”

Curiously enough, Gucci’s unavoidable outcome addressed every last ill he vanquished on his record “Pillz.” T-Pain expulsion’s comes after long periods of hearing he couldn’t cut it as a singer. With the notion completely upturned as we approach another decade, T-Pain is prepared to call dibs all in all kit and caboodle, as they say in Providence, Rhode Island.

Oh I see n****s hatin’, they wanna be like me
They wanna pull up in the wraith outside just like me
She got a head on her shoulders, I’m thinking of putting bread down.
