When two celebrities become a couple, the spotlight on them intensifies as people want to know when they would have children, not caring whether they want to have kids or not.
They are usually faced with the question of having kids during interviews and it could be a struggle for couples facing infertility problems.
Hollywood actress, Gabrielle Union, 46, got married to American basketball player, Dwayne Wade, 36, in 2014 and they had tried on several occasions to have kids.
Union disclosed that early in the marriage, having children wasn’t her focus, but after being a stepmom to Wade’s other sons, she yearned to have children of her own.
The talented actress in her 2017 memoir revealed that she had suffered about eight or nine miscarriages.
She also wrote:
“For so many women, and not just women in the spotlight, people feel very entitled to know, ‘Do you want kids?'”
“A lot of people, especially people that have fertility issues, just say ‘no’ because that’s a lot easier than being honest about whatever is actually going on. People mean so well, but they have no idea the harm or frustration it can cause.”
However, things have taken a positive turn for the star and her husband after they welcomed a baby girl via a surrogate mother on November 7, 2018.
The excited new parents took to their respective Instagram handles to share the good news. They had managed to keep information of the pregnancy under wraps till the child finally arrived.
Fans and well-wishers are very excited for them because their struggle to conceive had been widely publicised.
Congrats to them.
Legit.ng earlier shared helpful information on how to prevent miscarriage in 15 minutes.
A miscarriage is said to happen when pregnancies end on its own within the first five months of conception. This loss makes most women uncomfortable.
However, the torture of having repeated miscarriages may be prevented through a new procedure offered in Invitro Fertilization (IVF) clinics. This procedure lasts 15 minute during which a tool is inserted into the cervix to scratch the surface of the womb. The surface of the womb is called endometrium. This singular act may prevent a miscarriage.
