The flag bearer of Lagos state chapter of APC for the 2019 governorship election, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said his administration would focus extensively on the development of the grassroots people and eradication of poverty if elected.
Sanwo-Olu made this known while speaking during his ‘Thank you visit to Lagos Central Senatorial District leadership forum’ where he met with APC leaders in the senatorial district at Muri-Okunola Street, Victoria Island in Lagos.

“Our government will be a listening government. Our government will be a government that will look at party and look at the party’s manifestoe. We will not condole wasteful spending but we will be fair to everybody. We will make sure that we ensure that the greatest good is for the greatest numbers.”
He also thanked Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and all the members of the Governor’s Advisory Council, the apex leadership body of Lagos APC for supporting his aspiration and working toward his emergence as the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State.
Also speaking at the event, APC apex leader in Lagos central senatorial district and GAC member, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, urged all the party leaders to work for Sanwo-Olu and APC success in next year governorship election.
